The bottom two teams in the league play a potential six point game with both needing desperately to win for a chance to stay in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur
20:00 – Full Prediction
Crystal Palace – Attack: 1.18 Defence: -1.31
Tottenham Hotspur – Attack: 2.25 Defence: -0.87
Predicted Score: 0 – 3

Spurs have look fabulous this year and they should be too hot to handle away at Crystal Palace.

Thursday

Manchester City vs Manchester United
20:00 – Full Prediction
Manchester City – Attack: 1.69 Defence: -1.1
Manchester United – Attack: 1.63 Defence: -0.53
Predicted Score: 1 – 1

The big game, currently they lie fourth and fifth in the premier league table. With only four champions league spots available the stage is set for the biggest Manchester derby of the year. We think a score draw is a good bet on this one as the teams look evenly matched.

Premier League Title Contenders

Chelsea

An important win at Swansea means they are now ten points clear at the top of the table. It seems like Conte’s side is unstoppable and it’s now there’s to lose. The best attack in the league with 55 goals and a solid defence means they are way ahead of their rivals.

Tottenham Hotspurs

Spurs exited the Europa league last Thursday but a four nil win at Stoke showed good form. Their defence is the best in the league with just 18 goals conceded. They need to keep winning games to keep the pressure on.

Manchester City

Currently sit a point behind spurs with a game in hand which could close the gap on Chelsea to just 8 points. No doubt they have the quality in depth which could come in to play later as other squads tire.

Arsenal

Will it be Arsen’s last season in charge? Arsenal got hammered by Bayern Munich which must have knocked their condfidence. For a club that doesn’t spend much money on players they have always overachieved with Wenger in charge.

Liverpool

A terrible start to the year after a promising first half of the season. Liverpool need to get back to their best and win a lot of games if they stand any chance of catching Chelsea. A crucial game tonight against Leicester who are also out of form is a must win.

Liverpool vs Chelsea

Gamcast is predicting a 1-2 away win for Chelsea and with Liverpools recent dip in form that could be a good prediction.

Ladbrokes currently have that result at odds of 9/1.

Firmino to score first and Chelsea to win 2-1 is at 75/1

Full stats and analysis can be found here: http://gamcast.com/prediction.php?hsts=liverpool1485892800

Another game worth keeping an eye on is Arsenal vs Watford.

This should be a big home win for Arsenal with Gamcast predicting a 4-0 massacre.

The bookies haven’t been very generous with the odds even 4-0 is still only 10/1.

Considering a draw is 11/2 it might be worth hoping for an Arsenal meltdown and boring goalless draw.

zcode system review

Zcode System Review

Over the last 6 months I’ve received a lot of emails asking my opinion on the ZCode sports picking service.

For those that don’t know this is America’s answer to Gamcast and I’ve heard a lot of people are making serious money with it.

I am by no means an expert on American sports and have always been skeptical but after speaking to a friend who made $12,000 USD in two months and then reading a blog post from another friend Jason Holliston | “Why I Quit Poker” I couldn’t resist seeing what all the fuss was about.

The software is pretty easy to use and there are video tutorials available for anyone unfamiliar with sports betting, odds etc.

I started an account which costs $198 and poked around with the software for the first few days without making any bets. Watching the results come in is quite exciting even when you don’t have money placed on it.

Eventually my confidence grew enough to start placing money on bets. I used an existing account I already had with UK bookmaker (Ladbrokes).

I decided I would experiment with £100 GBP or roughly £125 USD for the first week.

Results

The first result was a shocker I managed to stream it live across the internet and watched patiently as I saw £20 and 20% of my budget evaporate in one go. Not a good start!

The next few games came in as predicted and I started to get more in to the analysis side of things and using the software and tools they provide.

After one week I had managed to turn my £100 investment into £172 which considering I’d spent about 3 hours a day watching games and playing with the software wasn’t a great hourly rate at £3.50~ish an hour. I felt like it was going well though and I was gaining more and more confidence in trusting the predictions and understanding the basics behind how it works.

After one month my account balance had grown to £2160 and I was steadily making £100 a day without risking too much overall. I have always been a advocate of the slow and steady approach to building a bank roll.

There’s no doubt it’s a great system and by far the market leader for US sports betting predictions. Can you make money with it? I think you’d have to be an idiot not to. I didn’t even know the rules to half the sports I was betting on at the start of this experiment.

I intend to continue working with the Zcode system and have set a target for this month to make £10,000 GBP or $12,500 USD profit. Whether I get there or not will be touch and go (last week was a record $3752 profit) but it’s bringing in a great secondary income without much work which is really useful at the moment.

My longterm goal is to incorporate some of the best features from the Zcode system into Gamcast so our users have the same tools.

For anyone interested in the Zcode system I’d highly recommend it. There’s a video here:

London Derby Arsenal vs Spurs

Local London derby this Sunday with Arsenal vs Tottenham

It’s a midday kickoff and looks like it could be an important game for both teams.

Here are the stats from Gamcast. You can see Arsenal have been superior recently in both attack and defence.

Arsenal – Attack: 1.98 Defence: -0.84
Tottenham – Attack: 1.38 Defence: -1.62
Predicted Score: 3 – 0

arsenal-vs-spursWe think 3-0 might be a bit much and my money is personally on a 2-0 home win for Arsenal.

A result would set Arsenal up for the Man Utd game on the 19th.

Here is what we think the lineups could look like on Sunday:

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Elneny; Walcott, Ozil, Iwobi; Sanchez

Spurs: Lloris; Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose; Wanyama; Lamela, Eriksen, Alli, Son; Janssen

Good luck everyone!

Jose’s Return to Stamford Bridge

Highlight this weekend is Jose’s return to Stamford Bridge with Manchester United away to Chelsea.

Could be another boring game if he parks the bus like he did at Liverpool last weekend. Gamcast has it at a 1-2 Man Utd win, I’m not so sure and could see it going 1-0 in either direction.

Arsenal at home to Middlesbrough has got a high odds flag for a 3-0 home win, this looks like a pretty good bet with Arsenal playing so well.

West Ham Sunderland also got a high goal probability flag due to the teams strong goal scoring record and weak defenses.

I really like Leicester at home to Crystal Palace, it’s about time the Foxes started bringing some of that European magic to their Premier League fixtures.

Weekend Football

Two big games this week with Man Utd vs Leicester the early kick off on Saturday at 12:30 gmt and Arsenal vs Chelsea at 5:30pm.

Two hard ones to predict. It’s a great time to go to Old Trafford for Leicester but they are off form themselves. If they get an early goal the United fans could turn on the team and their new manager.

Arsenal are level on points in the table so it’s going to be a good game. Gamcast has the game as a home win for Arsenal and I think that the home advantage could just slightly edget for Wenger’s team.

Good luck everyone!

Game 5 in the Premier League Season

premier-league-table
After just four games the premier league table is already starting to take shape. Manchester City are dominating and undefeated at the top after their excellent victory in the Manchester derby. Gamcast’s prediction would have come in if it wasn’t for a late united goal being ruled offside 🙁

This weeks big game is Chelsea at home to Liverpool and it’s a Friday night kick off which is new this season. A good excuse to go out and meet up for a few drinks perhaps.

Gamcast has it at a 2-3 away win to Liverpool which seems a bit harsh on Chelsea who have started this season well. Their results from the end of last season are still affecting their predictions though.

I think it’ll be a tight game and am going with a draw. Here’s the full analysis: http://gamcast.com/prediction.php?hsts=chelsea1474052400

Spurs vs Liverpool 27/8/2016

Welcome to week 3 of the premier league race.

Big game this weekend with Spurs at home to Liverpool.

Gamcast has predicted a Liverpool away win at 2-3. See the full forecast here: http://gamcast.com/prediction.php?hsts=tottenham-hotspur1472297400

It looks like it’ll be a tough contest with both sides hopeful of a Champions League spot finish this season.

Mauricio Pochettino goes head to head with Jurgen Klopp which could prove an interesting tactical battle. Jurgen’s first game in charge was a nil nil draw away at White Hart Lane in October.

Liverpool

  • Emre Can is expected to be out after he sustained an ankle injury.
  • Liverpool have scored the most goals this season in the Premier League but they have also conceded a lot.
  • Mignolet hasn’t saved one of the last five shots on target.

Tottenham

  • If Harry Kane scores it’ll be his 50th Premier League goal.
  • A win at home would give Spurs their best start to a season since 2009-2010.

Predictions

Our prediction: We like a score draw currently 3/1 at Ladbrokes and I’ll also have a flutter on a Harry Kane Scorecast with either a draw or 2-3 Liverpool win at 150/1.

2-3 Away win is currently 25/1

Is Pogba worth £89 million?

Paul Pogba is once a again a Manchester United player and it’s a deal closed with a world record breaking £89 million, making him the most expensive player of all time.

Manchester United is a money making machine with heaping cash flow coming from wine ads, movie trailers and many other sponsors. They have a record of third quarter revenues of £129 million — a rise of 29.9%. This means club will profit about £500M to £510M in 2016. Add to that Adidas sponsorship worth 750M and £8.38M TV deal, Pogba’s contract cost is absolutely no problem.

pogba

Pogba is valuable for obvious reasons: he is a very strong and capable midfielder who can dominate a game. He’s is just 23 years old but he is considered as one of the most valued players in the world. His skills are only going to get better and Manchester United will surely benefit from this progression.

He’s a dynamic box-to-box midfielder and brings a lot of energy to a game. He is strong, quick and can shoot from range. He also has leadership qualities being  a former captain of Frances in the recent Euros where they got to the finals. He may need to add some goals to his games but overall, Paul Pogba is an all-rounder and a huge asset. Could he be the missing piece of the puzzle for the club.

Fans from all over the world are waiting to see how this is all going to turn out. The real test will be against local rivals Manchester City who also look strong this season.

Dates for the local derby:

Sep 10 – Premier League – Man United vs Man City

Feb 25 – Premier League – Man City vs Man United

A lot of midfielders up and down the land are going to try and put their A-game against Pogba so it’s not going to be a breeze for him. At Southampton on Friday he showed touches of what is to come but was far from his best.

Money in football is crazy but if Pogba can bring success back to Man Utd and make them the dominant force they once were he will be worth every penny.
